Please email Tom Boak at  tboakjr@comcast.net if you are willing to help.

[3] The Road to Puerto Rico . . .

Coaches Tom and Carolyn, Ross and Laura want you to join them for the long course Masters Nationals, to be held in Puerto Rico from August 9-12!  The meet is set for a Monday through Thursday so that swimmers can party on the island before or after (or at both times!)  The Boaks and Davises are planning on going in for the prior weekend.

We are investigating which hotel will be best for a group, considering breakfast costs, shuttles, nearness to pool, etc.  Stay tuned and start working hard now!

[4]  CISD/Northampton Policies: The Board has approved some policy changes regarding our college rate as outlined here and posted on our website at:  http://www.teamunify.com/Newsletter.jsp?_tabid_=6911&team=gmswmst :

  • College Rate : Anyone in the 18-24 age group (under age 25) will be charged the college rate.  Anyone of any age who is attending college (graduate or undergraduate)  full time is also eligible for the college rate as outlined on the team website at www.wmst.net. The college rate will not apply to part-time students who are older than 25 and are working in a professional capacity and taking a class or two for personal or professional enhancement. This policy is meant to help those members who may be financially unable to afford the standard rate due to education costs.
  • Hardship cases:  Please let the coaches and the Team Administrator know if there are extenuating circumstances that prevent you from swimming such as  injury,  surgery, illness, or financial hardship. We will try to accommodate changes to membership status and waive fees for any prolonged recovery or illness as approved by the WMST Board President and the Team Administrator.  In the case of financial hardshipplease let the WMST Board President or Team Administrator know your circumstances and they will present your case to the rest of the Board for discussion and they will consider charging the college rate for a limited period of time.

In addition to the 20-Punch Card option for the college rate for $80, we will also now offer a 10-Punch Card option for the college rate for $45
