Happy Cinco de Mayo!
[1] Workout Policy – Important – Please
read
Our team pays a usage fee for our workouts to the CISD Natatorium
for specified times each week. Our workouts are scheduled for
either an hour or an hour and a half. That means that, if a workout
is scheduled for 12:00-1:00 pm, we can get in at 12:00 pm and we
must get out at 1:00 pm. A number of our members are unaware of or
ignoring this policy and getting in the pool as much as 15 minutes
early and staying after the workout is finished. This is unfair to
the Natatorium and to WMST. In the future, please be considerate of
the facility, our team and our coaches.
If you wish to extend your workout, either before or after the
scheduled time, you may pay the $5.00 NAT wellness fee, as long as
wellness swimming is scheduled and if time is available. It
is up to you to assume responsibility for paying the fee.
Also, please make an effort to give your card to the coach so that
he/she can accurately take attendance and verify that your account
is up to date.
Thanks to all of you for your continued support of our
program.

Puerto Rico Nationals - August 9-11, 2010
A number of our team mates have already made reservations for
Puerto Rico. The airfare is reasonable (I booked for $298 round
trip), the hotel is attractive, and the chance to combine with a
mini vacation make this a good opportunity for all of us.
All of the rooms in the hotel (see below) are suites, so there is
an opportunity to combine with others to lower the cost of the
trip. If you are interested in going and want to join with others
in a room, please email me at tboakjr@comcast.net
It is important that you book early. A block of rooms has been
reserved by U. S. Masters Swimming, but the rooms will most likely
go quickly. Let me know when you have made travel reservations so
that I can keep track of who’s going.
